Packing of Pineapples

Fruits within a pack are uniform in size, shape and colour.

Depending on the fruit size (caliber) 5 - 12 fruits are packed horizontally in single layer in carton box of 60cm x 40 cm

Net weight/carton: around 5kg

Each pack is clearly labeled of the variety, fruit caliber, maturity, overall pack weight and with its code (grower code, plot location, date of harvest, packer code)

Palletisation: 104 carton / pallet

Labelling:

Each fruit in the pack is individual labelled.
We proposed 2 types of labelling:
1. A small rectangular model with elastic band that tie around the crown net
2. A large cylindrical model that can hold the whole fruit








Information on storage:
On arrival fruit is good for 5 days un refrigerated, 8-10 days refrigerated (8-13 șC)

Tracebility:
Fungicide treatment after harvest: dip of cut peduncle in lml/L of thiabendazole
Minimum order: 1 palet
